Do you allow Laptops or Cell Phones?
Yes, we allow a client to bring their cell phone, laptop and tablet with them. We understand life does not stop just because someone comes here for treatment. We do ask clients to respect the rights of others when using these devices.
Why would someone need to go to a full-time, inpatient treatment center?
Detox from alcohol and most drugs does require a full-time, in-house commitment. After detox, it depends on a variety of factors. Spending several weeks in full-time treatment is the ideal way to “jump start” the recovery process. Call us and we’d be happy to do a quick assessment on the phone and discuss options.
Do clients have to do “chores”?
No, we do not ask our clients to do any chores. Some other treatment centers require their clients to clean the bathroom and perform other menial duties. We do not.
Do I have to share a room?
The majority of our rooms are private, additionally we do offer shared rooms. Shared rooms have a lower associated fee.
I’m a diabetic, will you cater to my dietary needs?
The private chef at Inspire Malibu can cater to any of your dietary restrictions.
I am gluten-free, can the food be prepared for me without any gluten?
Yes, that is no problem for the chef.
How old do you have to be to come to Inspire Malibu?
We treat adults only, 18 years of age and older
Can I bring my pet with me to Inspire?
We can kennel your pet locally for you and allow you to visit them on a regular basis. They cannot come to the facility for health reasons.
I live in another state, how can I get there?
Can my wife and I come to treatment there together?
You can both be treated at the same time, although you are not allowed to stay at the same facility.
How many times per week do I get 1 to 1 therapy?
You will meet with your primary therapist 1-3 times per week, or as needed.
Do you have a pool?
We get asked that question a lot. We belong to a beautiful fitness center where there is a very nice pool.
Do I have to get up early every day?
Yes, recovery is about establishing new, healthy habits. We go to bed early and get up early every day.
Can I leave the facility?
You may leave the facility with a day pass if permitted by one of our clinical staff members or administrators. Upon returning to the facility, a drug or alcohol test is required.
Do you have pillow top mattresses?
Yes, and we even have Egyptian cotton sheets. We make sure that our patients are very comfortable while here at Inspire Malibu.
Do you have an addiction specialist available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?
What is the cost of treatment?
Every person and addiction is different, so the cost might vary widely based on the individual needs. It’s best to speak with an intake specialist about what treatment options best fit the individual situation.
